I have had the joy of capturing Canberra family portraits for over 10 years now.
The best part of my job is laughing with you, getting lost in your stories and making genuine connections. I truly believe this how we capture authentic photos together that speak to each family members personality.
I pride myself in being able to match the energy of any child no matter what age or temperament. If that involves creating games and getting down and dirty with your little ones, them I’m in.

As a mum of two, I understand that family life is chaotic and nothing ever goes to plan when you have little humans running about. That’s why all of my family sessions are play-based and lead by your unique family dynamic.

Steph is the playful and vibrant creative force behind Little Grasshopper Photography. As a mum of two, Steph’s personal experiences have helped shape her passion for playful and interactive family photography. Since establishing her business in 2015, Steph has developed a highly detailed skill set that allows her to create stunning artwork that her clients proudly display in their homes.
Steph’s focus on capturing the essence of her subjects and their relationships has earned her a loyal following and a reputation for excellence. She is deeply passionate about her craft and takes great pride in every project she undertakes. With her warm and approachable nature, Steph makes every client feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera, resulting in photographs that are authentic and full of personality.
Despite her success, Steph remains grateful for the support of her clients and the contributions of her team. She is not afraid to be silly with the kids, and her outgoing and vibrant personality shines through in everything she does. Kim
Kim is an essential member of Little Grasshopper Photography, bringing joy and energy to every aspect of the business.
She is often working alongside Steph during mini-session days, helping clients feel comfortable. Kim is also our in house hair and make up artist for clients of ours who would like that little “lift” to help make them feel good before their session. In addition to her work at Little Grasshopper Photography, Kim is the relationship manager and photographer for our sister company Authentic School Portraits. She builds strong relationships with schools and families, ensuring they feel valued and heard.

Danielle is our talented photographer and photo retoucher at Little Grasshopper Photography. With her incredible Photoshop skills and her magical mouse, Danielle brings a touch of artistry to every family portrait, ensuring that every image looks its absolute best.
As an integral part of the team, Danielle takes great care in enhancing and refining each photograph, ensuring that every client is thrilled with their final product. Fun fact about Danielle – she was the young reader who asked JK Rowling if Dumbledore ever loved anyone, to which JK replied, “Dumbledore is gay, actually.” Our team was blown away when they heard this tidbit of information.
