Spring Session | Family of Four | Two Boys

The Callery Pear Tree plantation at the National Arboretum in Canberra is possibly my new favourite place to photograph families. The only problem is, that it is usually closed off to the public and to get there ordinarily, you have to walk about 1.5km! A big ask of families with small children. So I jumped at the opportunity to do a mini session afternoon when the Arboretum held an open day recently and allowed the public to visit the Southern plantations and forests.

It was a busy day with quite a few people milling around, but we found a great little spot away from the crowds and had an absolute ball completing this amazing family session.

I found Terina and Ben wandering around with their children looking at the Spring blossoms about twenty minutes before we were supposed to start, but that was okay, because their two boys were bright eyed and full of crazy, delicious energy, so we got started right away.

Caleb (4) and Elijah (2) were precious, energetic kids who loved running around, tickling, hugging and blowing bubbles. And I, of course loved it, photographing them was an absolute delight and I am so happy with how their images turned out. Check them out for yourself below!
